I have started a game. It's using Apollo Cross Development, and it's about 50/50 C and assembler.
I have been writing utilities to convert the sourced images etc, there are a lot - over 1400 sprite files for example. and also the palette etc.
The game it's self is in chunky 640x480, most of the source is still in prototype, but it's starting to get there. I still need to complete the sprite controller and also GUI etc, both of which I am currently working on.
I have the scroll working, mouse and joystick working. however I do need to sort out the keyboard reader - it only reads one key.
The maps are generated by a simple Perlin method and I have started the map screen. I have 29 themes for the maps loaded, and I have just finished loading them and the current palette for each.
